Which banks can I link to the app?
Bitstack uses Tink (a VISA subsidiary) to connect your bank to the app. You can find the list of supported banks by country on this link.
Can I use Bitstack without linking my bank account?
You can use Bitstack without linking your bank account, but you will not be able to use the rounding functionality. You can then set up a recurring investment plan and make one time buy order.
Is the bank linking really secure?
This type of connection is regulated by European law and we never have access to your bank login infos. To establish the connection, we use Tink, a Visa subsidiary specialising in interbank connections.
When you connect, you give Tink read-only access to your accounts. This connection is reset every 180 days in accordance with the law, and Tink no longer has any vision of the account after this period.
I don't recognize linked account numbers
The numbers that appear next to your synchronized account correspond to the last 4 digits of your IBAN. The different synchronized accounts may correspond to your sub-accounts and savings accounts.
Still don't recognize your account numbers? It's also possible that the numbers displayed correspond to an internal bank identifier that you're not used to seeing.
Can I link my spouse's bank account?
Bitstack accounts are individual accounts in the name of the user who has passed the identity check. We do not currently offer the possibility of opening joint/couple accounts.
If your partner would also like to use Bitstack, we recommend you to send her or him your referral link to open a new account. This will give you each €5 in Bitcoin as soon as your spouse has purchased €100 in Bitcoin.
