What is the round-up multiplier?

When automatic round-ups are enabled, Bitstack rounds each of your purchases up to the nearest euro and saves the difference in Bitcoin.

The multiplier amplifies that amount. It simply multiplies the spare change generated by each round-up.

Available multipliers: x1, x2, x5, and x10.

A concrete example

You buy a coffee for €2.60. Bitstack rounds up to €3.00 → the spare change is €0.40.

Depending on the multiplier you choose, here is how much is saved in Bitcoin:

Multiplier

Calculation

Amount saved

x1

€0.40 × 1

€0.40

x2

€0.40 × 2

€0.80

x5

€0.40 × 5

€2.00

x10

€0.40 × 10

€4.00

How to change your multiplier

  1. Open the app and go to the Savings tab.

  2. Tap Round-up.

  3. Tap Multiplier.

  4. Select the multiplier you want and confirm.

You can update your multiplier at any time.
