You can close your Bitstack account at any time directly from the app.
To start the account closure process, follow these steps:
tap your profile picture or initials in the top right corner,
go to Profile,
select Close my account
An account cannot be closed if it still contains euros or Bitcoin:
Make sure you have sold your Bitcoin or transferred it to an external wallet (Bitcoin address).
If a sale is pending, you will be able to close your account once it has been completed.
Sell your Bitcoin
Follow these steps to sell your Bitcoin and empty your account:
tap the Savings tab,
select Sell,
tap Max to sell all of your Bitcoin
If your cash account is activated:
The sale is instantly credited to your cash account,
You must then transfer the funds from your cash account to your external bank account.
If your cash account is not activated:
Select a synced bank account or manually enter your IBAN,
The IBAN must be in your name, if the name does not match exactly, the transaction may fail.
Transfer my Bitcoin to an external wallet
You can also transfer your entire Bitcoin balance to an external wallet by following the steps below:
go to the Savings tab,
tap the Send ↑↓ button,
select an existing recipient or add a new one by entering the required information,
review the details and confirm the transaction.
Once the transaction is confirmed, the funds will be sent to the selected external wallet.
