Do Round-Ups work with deferred debit cards?

At Bitstack, our system tracks round-ups throughout the week and charges a weekly debit on Sunday evening, based on the total round-ups accumulated from the previous week.

💳 Debit cards vs credit cards or deferred debit cards:

  • Debit cards offer better visibility into your transactions, making round-up tracking seamless.

  • Some credit cards or deferred debit cards, however, only report your transactions to us at the end of the month, when they are debited from your bank account.
This is why you might not see those transactions immediately in the app.

🧾 Which transactions are included?

Bitstack calculates round-ups based on all transactions from your linked bank accounts, including direct debits and transfers.
So even if some transactions don’t appear right away, they may still count toward your weekly round-ups. For more information, check out this article about what round-ups are and how they work.

💡 Tip: Set up a recurring Bitcoin purchase

If you prefer a more predictable savings method, you can set up automated Bitcoin purchases (weekly or monthly) using your bank card:

Go to the Wallet tab and tap on Recurring.
