Every payment is deducted instantly from your available cash balance in the app.
Is the Bitstack Card a debit or credit card?
The Bitstack Card is a debit card, not a credit card.
This means:
You can only spend the money you have available in your Bitstack cash balance
No overdraft, no credit, no interest
Payments are deducted immediately after each transaction
What types of Bitstack Cards are available?
You can choose between:
A virtual Bitstack Card, available instantly in the app
A physical Bitstack Card, delivered to your address
Both card types offer the same features and limits.
Is there a monthly fee for the Bitstack Card?
No.
There are no monthly subscription fees or hidden costs for using the Bitstack Card.
Can I use the Bitstack Card with Apple Pay or Google Pay?

Can I use the Bitstack Card abroad?
Yes.
You can use your Bitstack Card internationally for card payments and ATM withdrawals anywhere Visa is accepted.
When paying or withdrawing in a foreign currency, exchange rates apply. Bitstack offers a monthly FX allowance with no additional fees.
Are there foreign exchange (FX) fees?
Bitstack includes a monthly free FX allowance for card payments made in foreign currencies.
Up to €1,000 per month:
No additional FX fees are charged on card purchases converting EUR to another currency.Above €1,000 per month:
A ~1% FX fee is applied to the portion exceeding the free allowance.
The exchange rate used is based on Visa’s rate at the time of the transaction.
Are there fees for ATM withdrawals?
Bitstack includes free ATM withdrawals every month, within the following limits:
Up to €200 per month or 5 withdrawals are free (whichever comes first)
Once the free limit is exceeded, a fee applies to each withdrawal:
€1 minimum fee, or
1% of the withdrawal amount (whichever is higher)
ATM operators may apply their own fees, which are always shown on the ATM screen before you confirm the withdrawal.
How do Saveback and Round-Ups work with the Bitstack Card?
The Bitstack Card is fully compatible with:
Round-Ups: your card payments can be rounded up, with the spare change invested automatically
Stackback: earn rewards when paying with your Bitstack Card (when available)
You can manage these features directly in the app.

Does the Bitstack Card include insurance?
No.
The Bitstack Card is a Visa Classic card, which means it does not include built-in insurance benefits such as travel or purchase protection.
Bitstack focuses on providing a simple, transparent debit card with no subscription fees. Any insurance related to travel, purchases, or devices must be arranged separately with a third-party provider.
Is the Bitstack Card secure?
Yes.
Even though the Bitstack Card does not include insurance, your funds are protected through:
Regulated payment infrastructure
Visa security standards
Strong authentication for card payments
In-app card controls, including instant card blocking
If your card is lost or stolen, you can block it immediately in the Bitstack app to prevent unauthorized use.
