The Bitstack card is a Visa Classic debit card. It lets you spend your Bitstack cash balance online and in-store, wherever Visa is accepted.

Each payment is instantly debited from your available balance in the app.

Is the Bitstack card a debit or credit card?

The Bitstack card is a debit card, not a credit card.

This means:

  • You can only spend money available in your balance.

  • No overdraft, no credit, no interest.

  • Payments are debited immediately after each transaction.

What types of cards are available?

The Bitstack card is available as a physical card, delivered to your address. Ordering a card is a paid service: €9.99, plus variable delivery fees depending on your address.

Compatibility with Apple Pay and Google Pay is currently being developed. It will allow you to add your card to your phone to pay in store, online, or in apps. This feature will be available soon.

A virtual card is a feature we plan to offer in the near future to complement the card experience.

Where can I use the Bitstack card?

You can use your Bitstack card:

  • In store

  • Online

  • At ATMs

Anywhere Visa is accepted, in France and abroad.

How do Stackback and round-ups work with the Bitstack card?

The Bitstack card is compatible with two in-app features:

  • Round-up: with each card payment, the difference between the transaction amount and the next euro is automatically saved in bitcoin, with no conversion fee.

  • Stackback: you earn a bitcoin reward on every card payment, based on your monthly savings level.

You can manage both features directly in the app.

Does the Bitstack card include insurance?

The Bitstack card is a Visa Classic card and does not include built-in insurance such as travel protection or purchase protection.

Any insurance related to travel, purchases, or devices must be taken out with a third-party provider.

Is the Bitstack card secure?

Your funds are protected through a regulated payment infrastructure, Visa security standards, strong authentication for every payment, and in-app controls including instant card freezing.

If your card is lost or stolen, you can freeze it immediately from the Bitstack app and consult our dedicated FAQ.
