Why was my card payment declined?

A card payment can be declined for several reasons:

  • Insufficient balance on the Cash Account

  • Spending limits reached

  • Online payments disabled (for an online purchase)

  • International payments disabled (for a foreign currency payment)

  • Card is frozen

  • Physical card not activated (for in-store payments or ATM withdrawals)

Most of these items can be checked in Cash → your card.
