You're using Binance? How do you transfer your Bitcoin to Bitstack?

Binance will no longer be authorised to offer its services in France from 1 July 2026. If you hold Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies there, here's how to transfer them to Bitstack safely.

Why is Binance restricting its services in France?

The European MiCA regulation (Markets in Crypto-Assets) requires all crypto platforms to obtain a licence in order to continue operating in the European Union. Binance will not obtain this licence before the 30 June 2026 deadline.

From July 1st 2026, the platform can no longer onboard new users in France and is progressively restricting access to its services: buying, selling, deposits and withdrawals.

Your funds do not disappear. However, your ability to manage them on Binance is limited over time. It is therefore advisable to act without delay.

Bitstack is licensed in France and operates within the MiCA regulatory framework. You can open an account and transfer your Bitcoin in just a few steps.

July 1st, choose a platform you can trust!

Step 1 — Create your Bitstack account

If you don't have an account yet, download the Bitstack app and complete the identity verification process. This step is required to access all features.

Step 2 — Retrieve your Bitstack Bitcoin address

  1. Open the Bitstack app.

  2. Go to the Savings tab.

  3. Tap the arrow to the right of the Sell button.

  4. Tap Receive.

  5. Copy your Bitcoin address or save your QR code.

Step 3 — Convert your other cryptocurrencies into Bitcoin on Binance (if needed)

Bitstack is an application dedicated exclusively to Bitcoin. It does not support other cryptocurrencies (Ethereum, BNB, USDT, etc.). If you hold other assets on Binance, you must first convert them into Bitcoin directly on Binance, before initiating the transfer.

To convert your cryptocurrencies into Bitcoin on Binance:

  1. Log in to your Binance account.

  2. Go to Home, then select Convert.

  3. In the From field, select the cryptocurrency you want to convert.

  4. In the To field, select BTC.

  5. Enter the amount to convert, or tap Max if you want to convert everything.

  6. Tap Preview Order to display the real-time conversion rate.

  7. Review the details, then confirm the conversion.

The converted Bitcoin is credited immediately to your Binance wallet.

Step 4 — Send your Bitcoin from Binance to Bitstack

  1. Log in to your Binance account.

  2. Go to the Withdraw or Send section.

  3. Select Bitcoin (BTC).

  4. Paste the Bitcoin address copied from Bitstack.

  5. Select the Bitcoin (BTC) network — do not use any other network.

  6. Enter the amount to transfer (minimum: 10,000 satoshis on Bitstack's side).

  7. Confirm the withdrawal.

Receipt time typically ranges from a few minutes to one hour, depending on Bitcoin network congestion.

Double-check the destination address before confirming. A Bitcoin transfer is final and cannot be reversed.
