🧭 Getting Started with Bitstack

Want to buy, sell, and store Bitcoin easily with Bitstack? You’re in the right place — here’s everything you need to begin!

✅ What You’ll Need to Get Started

Before creating your Bitstack account, make sure you have:

  • At least 18 years old

  • A valid government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID, or residence permit only — no driver’s licenses)

  • A smartphone with internet access

  • A mobile phone number (you’ll receive a verification code via SMS)

  • The latest version of the Bitstack app (iOS or Android)

  • An up-to-date operating system

1. 📲 Create Your Account

  • Download and open the Bitstack app.

  • Tap Sign Up.

  • Enter the following:

    • Your mobile phone number (we’ll send a code by SMS)

    • A valid email address

    • A secure password

2. 📝 Add Your Personal Information

Make sure everything matches exactly what's shown on your ID:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Date of birth

  • Residential address

  • Current occupation

You’ll also need to indicate if you:

  • Are a politically exposed person (PEP)

  • Work in certain regulated sectors

  • Are acting on behalf of a company or another person

This information is collected in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

3. 🔐 Verify Your Identity

  • Select your ID type (passport, national ID, or residence permit)

  • Choose the country of issue

  • Take a clear photo of the document

  • Record a short video of your face

🔒 All data is encrypted and securely stored.

4. 🔄 [Optional] Link Your Bank Account

To enable Round-Ups:

  • Link your bank account (read-only access only)

  • Add a payment method to cover your weekly round-up total

💡 Bitstack never has access to your banking credentials.

5. 💳 Add a Payment Method

To buy Bitcoin instantly or schedule recurring purchases:

  • Link a credit/debit card or SEPA account

  • This method will also be used for your weekly round-up payments
