Official email addresses

Bitstack only sends emails from addresses containing the domain name bitstack-app.com. If the sender's address does not match this domain, the email is not from Bitstack.

Here are examples of addresses Bitstack may use to contact you:

A sender address can be forged

Bitstack has put in place technical protections on its domain to limit the risk of impersonation. Checking the sender's address remains good practice, but these protections also depend on the recipient's email service. Some providers do not apply them, which may allow a fraudster to display an official Bitstack address without actually sending from it.

If in doubt, do not click any link and contact us directly from the app.

What Bitstack will never ask you

Regardless of the channel used, Bitstack will never ask you to:

  • share your password

  • share your verification codes (2FA or other)

  • grant remote access to your device

  • call us by phone

  • enter your credentials or personal information on a website via a link received by email

If an email requests any of these, it does not come from Bitstack.

What to do if you receive a suspicious email?

  1. Do not click any link or open any attachment.

  2. Do not reply to the email.

  3. Contact us directly from the app by tapping your initials or profile photo in the top right corner, then selecting Help Center.
