Deposit funds in just a few steps, directly from the app

Easy Bank Transfer is a new way to add funds to your cash account directly from the Bitstack app, without manually entering an IBAN or switching between apps.

With this feature, you select your bank from a list, get redirected to your banking interface to confirm the payment, and the funds are automatically sent to your Bitstack cash account.

This process uses Open Banking, a regulated system that allows third-party apps to initiate payments from your bank account with your explicit authorisation.

How do I make an Easy Bank Transfer?

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. From the app, tap the "Cash" tab.

  2. Tap "Deposit".

  3. Select "Easy Bank Transfer".

  4. Choose your bank from the list.

  5. You are redirected to Tink, then to your bank's interface.

  6. Log in to your banking app and authorise the payment.

  7. Funds are automatically sent to your Bitstack cash account.

How long does it take to receive funds?

The timeframe depends on your bank and the type of transfer used:

  • If your bank supports instant SEPA transfer, funds typically arrive within seconds.

  • Otherwise, funds arrive within 1 to 3 business days.

The app shows you the estimated timeframe before you confirm the transfer.

Which banks are available?

The list of compatible banks is displayed directly in the app when you select this option. Banks you have already used appear at the top of the list for easier navigation.

Is Easy Bank Transfer free?

Yes, this deposit method is free of charge.

Is my banking data secure?

Yes. Easy Bank Transfer is powered by Tink, a licensed and regulated payment service provider. Bitstack never has access to your banking credentials. You connect directly through your bank's secure interface to authorise the payment.

Why do I need to log in to my bank?

The authorisation you give through your banking interface is mandatory. It ensures that you are the one initiating the transfer. No payment can be made without your explicit consent.
