How does my purchase limit work, and where can I check it?

On Bitstack, each payment method has its own weekly purchase limit. This limit operates on a rolling 7-day system: it does not reset on a fixed day of the week, but is recalculated continuously over the past 7 days.

Example: if you make a purchase of €1,000 on a Wednesday at 2:00 PM, this amount will count toward your limit until the following Wednesday at 2:00 PM. Once that period has passed, the €1,000 is automatically released.

You can check your limits at any time from your profile (initial or photo in the top right corner) > Account limits.

How can I increase my purchase limit?

To request a limit increase, contact customer support from within the app. A document request will be sent to you directly through the app.

The following documents are required:

  1. Proof of address less than 3 months old, showing your full name and address (for example: phone, internet, or electricity bill, or a rental agreement).

  2. One or more documents justifying the origin of your funds, less than 3 months old (for example: bank account statement, payslip, brokerage or investment account statement, loan agreement, property sale document, copy of a will, donation or probate letter, or any other document proving the origin of your funds).

  3. Your most recent tax assessment. If you have never filed a tax return (first year of employment or student status), you may provide your last three bank account statements instead.
