How does the new Bitstack referral program work?

Learn how to invite friends to Bitstack and earn Bitcoin together through the referral program.

Written by Alexandre Roubaud

Inviting a friend

To refer someone, go to the "Invite friends" section from the profile tab (your photo or initials in the top right corner of the screen) or from the "Earn €200" tab in your app. Copy your unique referral link and share it via text, email, or any messaging app.

Your referee must sign up to Bitstack using your link. Registrations made without the link will not be counted.

Conditions to unlock the reward

The reward is triggered automatically once your referee meets all three of the following conditions at the same time:

  1. Identity verification completed

  2. At least €100 saved in Bitcoin on Bitstack

  3. An active savings plan in place (Round-Ups and/or Recurring)

What you earn

  • You (the referrer): a Bitcoin reward of between €10 and €200, drawn randomly at the moment your referee becomes eligible. The guaranteed minimum reward is €10.

  • Your referee: a fixed bonus of €5 in Bitcoin, credited as soon as all conditions are met.

Tracking your referrals

You can track the progress of each of your referees from the referral dashboard, accessible via the "Earn €200" tab in your app.

Tap the "Your referrals" button in the top right corner of the screen to see the list of your invitations and their status: guest not yet signed up, referral in progress, referral validated, or referral expired.

Validity period

A referral expires 30 days after your referee signs up if all conditions have not been met within that window. Reminders are sent at D+15 and D+28 to prompt you to follow up with your referee in time.

Referral limit

You can refer up to 50 people per rolling year. Referrals beyond this limit do not earn a reward.

The exact amount of your reward is determined by a server-side random draw at the moment your referee becomes eligible. This draw is instant and final.

Migration of existing referrals

If you had a referral in progress under the previous program, it was automatically migrated to the new program at launch. The 30-day window restarted from the migration date.

The new condition — having an active savings plan — now applies to all referrals, including those already in progress. If your referee had not yet completed their onboarding, they received an email explaining the updated conditions and their new 30-day window.

Why haven't I received my reward?

Here are the most common reasons:

  • Your guest did not sign up through your unique referral link. Registration must go through that link.

  • Your guest has not yet reached the required purchase amount.

  • Your guest has not set up a savings plan.

  • Duplicate accounts or accounts using shared financial data are not eligible.

Bitstack reserves the right to modify, suspend, or end the referral program at any time, including due to changes in market conditions or fraud risk.

Usage rules

Promoting your referral link through paid advertising using the "Bitstack" name or related keywords is prohibited. Any breach of this rule results in the deactivation of your link and the loss of associated rewards.

Frequently asked questions

Can I refer myself?

No. Self-referral is blocked at the point of code redemption.

Can my referee use more than one referral code?

No. A referee can only be linked to one code. Any additional code is automatically rejected.

What happens if my referee does not meet all conditions within 30 days?

The referral expires and no reward is issued to either party.

Does Round-Ups alone count as an active savings plan?

Yes. An active savings plan means Round-Ups and/or a Recurring plan. Either one qualifies.

Is the reward clawed back if my referee closes their savings plan after it has been validated?

No. Once a referral is marked as rewarded, the credits are final.

Is the reward probability table shown in the app?

No. The probability distribution is disclosed in the terms and conditions only, not displayed in the app.
